PCS Structural Solutions Welcomes Four New Engineers
New Hires September 2015

McKell Bowen, Julie Chappel, Kevin Rothrock, and Jonathan Callans.
 
Bowen holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University and an M.S in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) from University of Washington. He has a year of industry experience and is currently working on the new Marina Apartments in Des Moines, Washington, and MultiCare Emergency Room Department Renovations in Auburn.
 
Chappel returns to PCS after a period of working on the East Coast. She holds a B.S. in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture in Structures from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Chappel has six years of industry experience and is currently working on a number of projects; her former work with PCS includes Seattle University’s Connolly Center.
 
Rothrock holds a B.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of California at San Diego and a M.S. in Structural Engineering from San Jose State University. He has 15 years of industry experience and is involved in ASCE, SEAW, and the USGBC Cascadia Chapter. Currently Rothrock is working on the Swedish First Hill campus renewal project, the new Marina Apartments in Des Moines, Washington, and the Tacoma Convention Center Hotel.
 
Callans is a recent graduate of Villanova University in Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering. He is currently working on the Swedish First Hill campus renewal project, the Centralia College Commons Student Center, and the Elite Training Fitness Center renovation.
