Three Students Awarded PCS STEM Scholarships for 2022

PCS Structural Solutions is passionate about serving communities throughout the Northwest where we work, live, and play. From the community structures we help design to the philanthropic organizations we support, PCS’ers are privileged to help make an impact.
We’re keenly aware that the future health and well-being of our industry, and our firm, depends on the diverse, vibrant, creative, and passionate contribution of the next generation. With that in mind, PCS established our PCS STEM Scholarships in 2021. By offering the scholarships, we hope to help encourage students pursuing STEM studies—helping to improve access for students under-represented in STEM careers.

We’d like to give our congratulations to the three winners of our 2022 PCS STEM Scholarships. Victoria Rose Montgomery was referred through her professor of Civil Engineering at Bates Technical College, Taina Anderson. Victoria Rose comes from a ranching background in Southern Idaho and is enrolled in the Civil and Environmental Technology program at Bates Technical College in Tacoma. Mohammed Wali graduated from Fort Vancouver High School and will be studying computer engineering at Portland State. He’s been involved in the Environmental Justice Youth Leadership Program. Natalie Wahl heard about the scholarship through her ACE program leaders and will be pursuing Civil Engineering at Northern Arizona University.

PCS is pleased to recognize each of these applicants for their achievements. Thank you to our partners at ACE, Graduate Tacoma, Technology Access Foundation, and Portland Metro STEM Partnership, and to each of you for helping to spread the word.
