Amy Poehlitz

Project Engineer

Amy obtained her bachelor's degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and her master's degree from Stanford. A creative, holistic designer, Amy is drawn to projects where structural engineering is a part of the architectural vision. Amy also enjoys the challenge of performance-based structural design. When not designing, Amy loves getting on the water, hiking and reading.
“I have always loved buildings and love that you can take an idea from the office to a place that people inhabit in the real world. From very early I wanted to be an architect. A high school friend’s dad was an engineer and introduced me to the idea that I could have everything I wanted in structural engineering: built environments, creativity, and physics and math.”
