Located on 300 acres of big and beautiful western Massachusetts, the Berkshire Residence embraces the landscape. The building sits on the border of forest and meadow, creating intimate views of trees and grand vistas of the meadows and hills. Built of concrete and steel, the structure makes bold statements at multiple cantilevers, the most unique of which are the steel beams that support full-height and -width operable windows. When opened, these windows create a one-of-a-kind indoor-outdoor experience connecting the residence to the land.
