PCS Structural Solutions provided the structural design for a new 400-room, family-sized hotel to accommodate the water park resort and conference center. The eight-story, post-tensioned, flat-plate hotel incorporated concrete shear walls in one direction and concrete moment frame lateral systems in the other providing architectural flexibility for the rooms and architectural elevations. PCS brought additional value to the challenging foundation conditions by incorporating a mat foundation, thus avoiding expensive piles.
